Swann is pleased to announce a partnership with PROOF: Media for Social Justice, whose annual benefit auction will be held in our auction rooms in June. Over the years, this benefit auction and cocktail reception has featured work donated by notable photographers including Malick Sidibe, Mark Seliger, and Joyce Tenneson. This year featured distinguished photographers include Franck Bohbot, Eli Reed, Bill Jacobson, Barbara Bordnick, Harvey Stein, Ruven Afanador and many others.
In partnership with PROOF, photojournalists, documentarians, academics and activists utilize the power of photographic storytelling to promote peace-building and global social justice, revealing the effects of and opening a dialogue about human rights abuses around the world.
