Swann Galleries' auction of Maps & Atlases, Books with Plates, Historical Prints, Travel Books & Ephemera will take place a week after Thanksgiving, Thursday, December 3, at 1:30 PM. The sale will feature maps and atlases from the 16th through the early 20th centuries; the Abramson Family Collection of Holy Land maps, views and books; an assortment of travel literature; books offered for their plates; and a small selection of printed ephemera, which includes a remarkable collection of printer’s proofs for cigar labels.

On Tuesday, December 8, Swann will conduct a two-part auction of Photographic Literature & Fine Photographs, which will offer many rare and museum-worthy works. And rounding out the year will be an auction of Rare & Important Art Nouveau Posters Wednesday, December 16.
